Mesh Integration Systems

What Is Mesh Integration?
Unlike traditional wigs or extensions, a mesh integration system—sometimes called a hair integration topper or hair mesh for thinning hair uses a lightweight, hypoallergenic mesh that acts as a breathable foundation for new hair.
Your natural hair is gently pulled through the mesh, and custom-colored human hair is attached to the mesh base (not directly to your hair).
This process blends seamlessly with your natural strands, creating instant volume and coverage—especially in thinning crown or part-line areas.
Because the mesh is flexible and breathable, your scalp stays comfortable, and your natural hair can continue growing underneath without tension or damage.
Mesh Integration vs. Traditional Hair Extensions
Although both mesh integration systems and hair extensions add fullness and beauty, their purpose and attachment methods are very different.

How Is Mesh Integration Installed?
The process is meticulous, customized, and performed by certified specialists trained in non-surgical hair replacement.
Step 1: Consultation
A one-hour consultation where we analyze your scalp, hair density, and goals. We design a customized solution tailored to your needs.
Step 3: Mesh Preparation
The breathable topper or closure is cut and shaped based on your scalp measurements.
Step 5: Blending and Styling
Custom-colored human hair wefts and a closure are integrated and styled to match your natural tone, texture, and desired look.
Step 2: Measurement
We measure the thinning area to create a perfectly fitted mesh base that covers only where needed.
Step 4: Attachment
A topper or closure is attached using gentle methods such as silicone-lined micro rings—no glue, no shaving, and no adhesive on your natural hair.
Step 6: Maintenance and Follow-up
Maintenance appointments are scheduled every 5–6 weeks to tighten, refresh, and ensure your natural hair remains healthy beneath the system.

Who Can Benefit from a Mesh Integration System?
Mesh integration is ideal for women experiencing:
-
Androgenetic Alopecia (Female Pattern Hair Loss)
-
Alopecia Areata
-
Trichotillomania
-
Post-Chemotherapy Hair Loss (minimum 6–9 months post-treatment with medical clearance)
-
Hormonal or Stress-Induced Thinning
-
Naturally Thin or Sparse Hair, especially at the top or crown
If you’ve been told extensions aren’t an option—or you’re tired of wigs, powders, or constant concealment—mesh integration offers a long-term, natural-looking alternative.
Who Is Not a Candidate?
While mesh integration is one of the most versatile systems available, it may not be suitable for everyone.
It’s not recommended for individuals who have:
-
Advanced alopecia or complete baldness (no hair for attachment)
-
Excessive thinning with minimal anchor hair
-
Active scalp conditions (eczema, psoriasis, lice, or nits)
-
Very brittle or severely damaged hair
-
Excessive scalp oiliness
-
Pregnancy or are within six months postpartum (due to hormonal fluctuations)
-
Recent chemotherapy (must wait at least 9 months post-treatment with clearance)
In these cases, our experts may suggest alternative non-surgical hair replacement systems or scalp restoration programs to strengthen your hair before integration.
To maintain your system’s longevity and hygiene
-
Schedule maintenance every 5–10 weeks depending on growth rate.
-
Always have the system professionally removed, cleaned, and reattached.
-
Avoid leaving the system in longer than 6–7 weeks without removal.
-
Follow your stylist’s at-home care routine for washing, brushing, and sleeping.
Consistent follow-up ensures your scalp remains healthy and your natural hair continues to grow safely beneath the mesh.
