Meshless Integration System for Top of Head Hair Thinning

You’ve probably heard about mesh integration systems, which we’ve discussed in a previous article. This time, we’re introducing the meshless integration system. How does it differ from the mesh integration system? Which one is more effective? These are the questions we will try to answer in this article.

What Is the Meshless Integration System?

The meshless integration system is an advanced hair replacement solution designed to provide a seamless and natural look. Unlike traditional wigs or surgical hair restoration, meshless integration systems combine comfort, breathability, and versatility to create a realistic appearance.

Designed for women experiencing moderate to severe hair loss or thinning, the meshless integration system presents a remarkable solution. This innovative system is ingeniously constructed from the client's existing hair through the use of micro rings and a distinctive lattice pattern.

This system serves as an exceptionally efficient approach to address both the advanced stages of hair loss and the regrowth of short hair following treatments.

Mesh vs Meshless Integration System

The main difference between mesh and meshless integration systems lies in the structure and attachment methods used to secure the added hair.

In a traditional mesh integration system, a mesh base is used to attach the added hair. This mesh base is typically made of fine, breathable material, resembling a wig cap with small holes or perforations. The added hair is woven or integrated into the mesh base, often using knots, clips, or adhesives. The mesh base provides good airflow and is comfortable to wear, making it suitable for extended use.

Meshless integration systems, on the other hand, do not rely on a traditional mesh base. Instead, they are constructed directly from the client's existing hair, typically using micro rings or a unique lattice pattern. The added hair is blended and integrated into the client's natural hair using micro rings or the lattice pattern, without the need for different attachment methods.

Meshless integration systems also provide good comfort and breathability, similar to mesh systems.

Both mesh and meshless integration systems aim to provide a natural and comfortable solution for individuals dealing with hair loss. The choice between the two often depends on individual preferences, the extent of hair loss, and the attachment method preferred.

How Does It Work?

The meshless integration system is ingeniously designed to snugly fit on top of your existing hair, and it's firmly secured with silicone-lined micro rings. To achieve a natural and seamless appearance, closures, toppers, and wefts are then meticulously attached to the lattice system.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this technique is the freedom it grants you. You can participate in a wide range of everyday activities and sports without worry. You can go to the gym, play with the kids, go about your chores, or jog in the park like you normally do. You can wash, brush, and style your new hair just as you would your natural hair.

While not a solution for hair loss, this technique totally conceals or covers areas of hair loss. Furthermore, the client's hair can continue to grow beneath the system, so if hair growth does restart, the system can simply be removed.

Benefits of Meshless Integration System

Here are some of the advantages of meshless integration system:

  1. No Mesh - As the name suggests, one of the primary benefits is the absence of a mesh base. This eliminates any bulkiness, ensuring a seamless and natural appearance.

  2. No Tangling - The absence of a mesh minimizes the risk of hair tangling within the system, making it easier to manage and maintain.

  3. No Matting - With no mesh to trap hair, matting is virtually eliminated, allowing for smooth and hassle-free care.

  4. No Knotting - Unlike some traditional systems, there are no knots involved in securing the added hair, reducing the likelihood of tangling.

  5. No Glue or Tape - Meshless integration systems rely on silicone-lined micro rings or a unique lattice pattern, eliminating the need for adhesives like glue or tape.

  6. No Tension - The system is designed to be comfortable and free from tension, ensuring a pleasant wearing experience.

  7. No Pulling - Meshless systems are gentle on the scalp and hair, preventing any pulling or discomfort.

  8. No Product Build-Up - With no adhesives or tapes, there's no product build-up that can affect the hair's texture or appearance.

  9. No Cradle Cap Build-Up - The meshless system's design promotes good airflow and hygiene, reducing the risk of cradle cap or similar issues.

  10. No Itching - A breathable and comfortable design minimizes any itching or discomfort typically associated with traditional methods.

  11. More Comfortable - Overall, the meshless integration system is recognized for its comfort, allowing individuals to wear it throughout the day without any irritation.

  12. Allows Hair Growth - Perhaps one of the most significant advantages is that it allows the individual's natural hair to continue growing underneath. This feature ensures the scalp remains healthy, and the hair can regrow if conditions improve.

Who Is It For?

The meshless integration system is a versatile and effective solution for a wide range of individuals dealing with various degrees of hair loss.

  • Women with Moderate to Severe Hair Loss - If you’re experiencing moderate to severe hair loss, this meshless integration system offers excellent coverage and a natural appearance.

  • People Suffering from Post-Treatment Hair Loss - For those who have undergone medical treatments that resulted in hair loss (e.g., chemotherapy), the meshless integration system is a viable option to regain a full head of hair once treatment is complete.

  • Those Looking for Non-Surgical Solution - Many people prefer non-surgical alternatives to address hair loss. The meshless integration system provides a natural-looking solution without the need for invasive procedures.

Who Is It NOT For?

  • Those with alopecia Universalis, eczema or psoriasis - Using a meshless method may agitate your scalp and worsen their present condition. When the head has no hair due to Alopecia Universalis, it is not always comfortable to use wig tape on meshless units.

  • Pregnant women or those who have been pregnant in the last 6 months - Unfortunately, pregnancy can cause natural hair thinning. It is preferable to fit hair loss systems while your hair is in a stable growth pattern.

  • Those with breakage on the firs2 inches of their natural hair - If your hair is not strong enough to support the hair system, the hair may fall out totally.

  • Women with excessively oily hair - The oils in extremely oily hair might cause rings to slide down or out.

  • Those who are or have been a cancer patient - Unfortunately, the drugs and treatments given to cancer patients can cause hair loss; therefore, the meshless unit should be fitted when the client is 6-9 months post-therapy and no other treatment is required. This enables the client's natural hair to continue a consistent growth pattern.

How to Maintain Meshless Integration System

Maintaining a meshless integration system is essential to ensure its longevity and keep your hair looking its best. Here's a guide on how to properly care for and maintain your meshless integration system:

Regular Maintenance Appointments - Schedule and attend regular maintenance appointments with a professional stylist who specializes in meshless systems. Schedule your maintenance appointments every five and ten weeks.

Gentle Washing - Wash your extensions no more than 2-3 times every week. Before every wash, make sure your hair is not snarled. The less you wash your hair, the longer it will last. Use hair extension shampoos and conditioners, which have low PH values and no harsh ingredients. Avoid high-street shampoos that contain sulfates and parabens.

Avoid Product Build-Up - Be cautious about using excessive styling products. Minimize the use of heavy products, as they can lead to product build-up, which affects the hair's texture and appearance.

Brushing and Styling - When your extension hair is damp, only use a bristle brush on it. When the hair is dried, only use a hair extension brush that has been developed to avoid being snagged/caught on the bonds. When brushing, always support your hair extensions at the root with your 'free' hand to avoid excessive tugging on the extensions at the root.

Drying & Styling - Limit the use of high-heat styling tools like flat irons or curling wands. Apply a heat protection spray or serum on damp hair. Dry your hair extensions in a cool setting. Blow dry your hair in sections, one at a time, with a round vent bristle brush or a hair extension brush.

Professional Removal - When it's time to remove the system or make any adjustments, always seek professional assistance. Proper removal is crucial to prevent damage to your natural hair and the system itself.

These tips ensure that your meshless integration system remains in excellent condition, providing a natural and comfortable solution for your hair loss needs.
