Meet Zoya Ghamari

I was born and raised in the war-torn country of Iran. As a girl,
I dreamed of a life of adventure, a life where I could make an impact – one where I wasn’t limited by being a woman in a culture that sees women as less than men. So at the age of 17,
I left my family and moved to the US to chase my dreams.

It wasn’t easy, but I saw an opportunity to make a life for myself by enrolling in beauty school. It was never my plan or my dream to become a stylist – there was no hidden desire, dream, or talent. I just needed a way to support myself.

It wasn’t until a traumatic experience in my 20’s led me to start losing my hair that I discovered my real passion. When my hair started falling out, I felt like I lost a piece of myself – like my identity had been stolen from me.

I tried everything. I would drive for hours to visit doctors, but nothing seemed to work. I was at a really low place, and I was feeling hopeless. I had been applying extensions to my own clients, but I was hesitant to try them myself – I didn’t want to lose the hair I had left. When I discovered for myself that expertly applied premium extensions wouldn’t further damage my hair, everything changed.

I looked in the mirror and I saw me again. I felt like the emotional roller coaster was finally over, and my job as a stylist changed too. Until that day, I had pursued my career just because I thought it gave me a path to financial independence. But what I realized is that I had the opportunity to make other women feel just like I did that day – feminine, beautiful, and powerful. I had found my purpose.

I opened Zoya Salon with that same mission – I want to help women like you who struggle with hair loss, thinning hair, or just not feeling like the way they look on the outside represents who they really are.

So who am I? I’m a lot of things – I’m a former fitness competitor, a dog mom, and a believer in constant self-improvement. I’m a neat freak and a perfectionist (I can’t STAND clutter).

I’ve been a salon owner for over 20 years, and I specialize in extensions that I describe as “everyday elegant.” I’m not trying to make you look like you just stepped out of a high-fashion hair show. I want you to feel effortlessly beautiful and confident, and I’ve dedicated my career to mastering that craft.

You deserve beautiful, full hair that makes you feel ready to take on the world. You shouldn’t ever be held back by the way you look and the way you feel. You deserve to live beautifully. And it’s my job to help you get there.
